After spending many years in the Home Counties, our client did not know the ins and outs of prime central London, the subtleties of the various neighbourhoods, never mind the draconian garden square rules around dogs!

We found an impeccable townhouse off a garden square, that does allow dogs, and as a result a readymade community of canine loving neighbours. We also managed to negotiate as part of the deal many of the home furnishings that brought the property to life. They found the right property on their first day out with us.

Moving to London can mean downsizing, often a daunting proposition. As London property finders, we aim to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.

Recently, one of our clients found that the family home in a remote part of Yorkshire no longer worked for them. With their two daughters living in London they made the bold decision to move south, lock stock and barrel.

They wanted to be central and after a lot of discussions we settled on Pimlico as a good area to start the search for an apartment – it is relatively good value and although they couldn’t afford a house, the idea of a garden maisonette was appealing. We found several good options, but we also came across a small rundown house in Holland Park, with a great deal to be had on the price.

They couldn’t believe that they could move to a house in such a prestigious neighbourhood. With planning permission now granted for a roof terrace and the conversion of the garage to habitable space, they are loving their new leafy home in West London.

Helping you move to London

“From the very beginning Jane was so professional and knowledgeable, establishing a firm understanding of our needs and wants. Her knowledge of the market and the areas we looked at was extremely comprehensive. Our day out looking at properties was so well organised and we fitted so much into one day, which meant we had a really good overview immediately of the types of property we could get in certain areas and it also helped us maximise our time, which is always limited. Jane absolutely listened to all our requirements and we felt that all the shortlisted properties met those criteria and beyond. Jane was so helpful in securing our property liaising with estate agents, solicitors and surveyors and helped us get over the line. I really felt that Jane gave us confidence to make a purchase that we would not have been able to make without her. The service that Jane gives is so much more than we could have expected and we have really enjoyed working with her on this.”
