After spending many years in the Home Counties, our client did not know the ins and outs of prime central London, the subtleties of the various neighbourhoods, never mind the draconian garden square rules around dogs!

We found an impeccable townhouse off a garden square, that does allow dogs, and as a result a readymade community of canine loving neighbours. We also managed to negotiate as part of the deal many of the home furnishings that brought the property to life. They found the right property on their first day out with us.

Moving to London can mean downsizing, often a daunting proposition. As London property finders, we aim to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.

Recently, one of our clients found that the family home in a remote part of Yorkshire no longer worked for them. With their two daughters living in London they made the bold decision to move south, lock stock and barrel.

They wanted to be central and after a lot of discussions we settled on Pimlico as a good area to start the search for an apartment – it is relatively good value and although they couldn’t afford a house, the idea of a garden maisonette was appealing. We found several good options, but we also came across a small rundown house in Holland Park, with a great deal to be had on the price.

They couldn’t believe that they could move to a house in such a prestigious neighbourhood. With planning permission now granted for a roof terrace and the conversion of the garage to habitable space, they are loving their new leafy home in West London.

Helping you move to London

“We cannot praise Jane highly enough for the service she provided supporting our elderly mother’s relocation from rural Scotland to central London. She worked with us as a family to understand our requirements for the search and presented us with a really strong shortlist of properties, including one we chose to offer on. After that, she led the negotiations with the estate agent, secured the property we wanted at below asking price, then stayed on the job, progress chasing all the way through to completion. She also recommended a fantastic solicitor for the conveyancing and a great builder to refurbish the property. Very highly recommended.”
